| The PABWE Board and the AFBCP has approved the proposal for PABWE to hold a whole day activity during the AFBCP Biennial Conference in Iloilo City on April 26-29. It is aimed to encourage the AFBCP churches in seeing the fruit of their labors and prayer in Thailand and to encourage Thai workers and believers by seeing the work in the Philippines. The activities will include lectures, testimonies, messages, forum, Q&A, exhibits, Thai and/or Cambodian food, and a very special evening presentation. | ||||

| PABWE Board | ||||
| Iloilo City, early 2009. PABWE Board has approved an amendment of its by-laws that restructures its structure and working policy with its missionaries. The present Board has its own Board President who will lead in the planning and placing of policies and guidelines. The Board has approved the appointment of an independent president who is not a member of the Board. He will act as the Chief Operation Officer of the PABWE Board. He will be the direct link of the Board with the Missionaries and supporting churches. | ||||

| Iloilo City, early 2009. The PABWE Board has approved the appointment of Dr. Antolin B. Zamar, the former President of the Board, to be first outside-of the Board President. He will take this position full time and will re-locate himself in Iloilo where the permanent PABWE office will be based. | ||||

| Iloilo City, early 2009. The PABWE Board has approved to locate its permanent office in Iloilo City. The Board has specifically requested a space in Doane Baptist Church where it can hold its office. The PABWE President will work in this location full time. | ||||
| LIFE CAMP Oct 2009 | ||||
| Bangkok, May 2009. The LIFE committee led by Pastor Sonthoon Kamma has announced that the LIFE camp will still be in Wangree Resorts in Nakhonnayok on October 19-22. Last year, over 500 campers attended from the Romphrakhun churches and PABWE centers and resulted to a good number of professions. This year, each church or center must take charge in training their counselors, unlike last year that a counselors camp was held. | ||||

| Bangkhen, Bangkok, May 2009. The Romphrakhun Bible Theological Seminary has officially opened for the new school year. Rev. Nimrod Acosta is leading the missionaries, pastors, and Christian workers as the faculty and staff of the Seminary. | ||||
| Pattaya camp 2009 | ||||
| Chonburi, Thailand; May 2009. The Fellowship of Romphrakhun Baptist Churches held its annual Summer Retreat in Pattaya, Chonburi. About 200 campers from Romphrakhun churches and PABWE centers attended. Rev. Reuel M. Lumilang was the main speaker. Rev. Ariel Abadiano helped with his lecture on “Cat and Dog Theology.” | ||||
| Holmes 25th Wedding Anniversary | ||||
| Rama Gardens, Bangkok; May 2009. Rev. Charles and Lourdes Holmes celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with about 200 family members, friends, and guests present. A good number of guests were present during their actual wedding 25 years ago…The Ecates, except Bibing Myrna, were present. | ||||
| Selorios back from furlough to Bangmot | ||||
| Bangkok, May 2009. Pastor & Mrs. Liuel Selorio had return from their furlough in the Philippines. They reported positive response of the believers and churches they had visited. During their first term, they helped the ministry in Chiangrai with the Mss Acosta and Ruiz. On their return, they will handle the ministry in Bangkok when the Inions leave for the Philippines. | ||||
